
Boris Johnson appoints Nigerian as Minister
A Nigerian Olukemi Olufunto Badenoch was on Saturday July 27, appointed a Children and Families Minister by the new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Olukemi, a British Conservative politician and Member of Parliament (MP) for Saffron Walden arrived the UK at the age of 16. The 39-year-old software and IT engineer studied systems engineering at Sussex University and also has a law degree. She is a mother of two and had previously worked in the banking sector for Coutts and RBS.
