Disney Developing African Princess Fairytale Movie called ‘Sade’ Directed by Rick Famuyiwa

Disney Universe get in here, there’s a new princess coming to  your world and her name is “Sade.” The movie by the same name will feature a live-action fairy tale about a young African princess,  according Deadline. In the movie, Sade will defend her kingdom against a mysterious evil force with her newly-discovered magical warrior powers.

This is a first for Disney as Sade will be Disney’s only African female lead. The movie has no director yet but it will be produced by  Nigerian-American director Rick Famuyiwa.
