The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced the passing of former Super Falcons midfielder Ajuma Ameh-Otache who died at the age of 33.
Ameh-Otache was on the Nigerian team that played at the Olympic Games in Athens, and won the African Women’s Cup of Nations the same year.
The NFF wrote on their Twitter “We are sad to hear of the sudden passing of former
@NGSuper_Falcons midfielder, AWCON winner, Olympian, Ajuma Otache who passed on Saturday. Our thoughts are with her young family. May her soul rest in peace”
